Feature flooring
Any space can be improved simply by adding the right flooring. If you have old lino, click clack floor boards, carpet or vinyl – no amount of redecorating with painted walls, new sofas or decorative ornaments will change the drab old looking feel to the space your attempting to improve.
Your redecoration project should start with painting the walls. Perhaps add a feature wall or a section of the wall with printed or ceramic tiling to lift the area adding a touch of excitement.
When the walls and ceiling are finished – change that floor!
What ever your design, be sure to include fresh new flooring, whether it be tiling, wood floors, carpets etc… Try sectioning your space with part wood flooring and part carpet.
Once these two very important design fundamentals are finished – re-create your space with the personal touch of decorative ornaments that match your personality.
